Meet T.J., our Colorado Farm to Table farmer. When he's not raising free, nutritious veggies for the hungry masses, he keeps an eye on the prize prepping for next year's fruition. Here on the farm, there's a steady stream of things that need maintenance. His daily chores include, but are not limited to, resetting the greenhouse, cleaning/recharging batteries, sourcing new tractor parts and ordering supplies.
During the frigid winter months in Salida, you’ll find TJ servicing all of the various farm equipment, and putting seed lists together and proactively planning for any potential problems during growing season. Researching best farm practices is high on his list while the ground lies fallow. Due to the common issues that can arise with beekeeping, it's super important to anticipate any potential problems with the pollinators connected to the land.
In 2024, Colorado Farm to Table produced and donated nearly 100,000 pounds of veggies to feed hungry Coloradans. We couldn't do it without all of you faithful supporters and stewards of our land. Thank you!!

Looking to the future, TJ anticipates another fruitful season. “We’re gathering seeds and supplies and hope you are as excited as we are for the 2025 season!”
