A Tribute to Lisa

From The Board, Committee Members and Staff

CFTT Volunteers

We’d like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Lisa McGrew Siegfried, outgoing President of CFTT Board of Directors. Lisa is retiring from the Board after nearly 10 years of dedicated service and devoting countless hours to advancing our mission. Lisa became involved in CFTT in 2014 in response to the organization’s hunger relief mission. She has worn numerous hats at CFTT during her tenure - serving as volunteer farm hand, volunteer coordinator, distribution coordinator, fundraiser, grant writer, administrator, unpaid Executive Director, and on the Board of Directors and multiple board committees. It is impossible to estimate Lisa’s impact on our mission and the tens of thousands of Coloradans whose lives have been affected by receiving nutritious produce because of Lisa’s influence. The Board members and all of the volunteers Lisa has mentored are deeply grateful for her wisdom. She is an inspiration to all of us who support CFTT’s work!

Lisa graduated from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) with a B.A. in psychology and from Portland State University with a master’s degree in social work (MSW). Her professional career in Alaska and Oregon included significant work in nonprofit, community-based human service organizations.

Lisa is an avid reader and a Colorado Master Gardener and is passionate about her own pollinator garden. She is a traveler and has lived in four countries. Lisa and her husband have an adopted daughter from Nepal. Lisa is looking forward to spending more time with her family, her garden, and traveling with her husband, Stephan.
